California Washer Pros is a statewide appliance repair company built around one job: getting your washer running again. We work on every major brand, from Whirlpool and Maytag to LG, Samsung, Bosch and Speed Queen, and we cover the whole state, from San Diego and Chula Vista up through Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, San Jose, San Francisco and Sacramento. Our techs carry drain pumps, door lock assemblies, inlet valves, drive belts and control boards on the truck.
We run a simple model: diagnose on the first visit, quote before work starts, and fix it the same day whenever the part is on the truck. Our techs are manufacturer service certified and hold a California appliance repair license. If your washer is not draining and the problem has been dragging on, call (888) 593-1452.
Every washer eventually quits, and how it quits tells you what's wrong. We handle the full range of failures, from a washer not draining to a control board that won't power up. Our techs work out of vans stocked with the parts that fail most, which is why most jobs are done in one visit. If you need washing machine repair in California near me and want it handled today, call (888) 593-1452.
Washer Not Draining
A washer that won't drain usually means a clogged drain hose, a failed drain pump, or a kinked line behind the unit. We pull the hose, snake the standpipe, test the pump with a multimeter, and replace what's failed. Common in older San Francisco and Sacramento homes with cast-iron drains.

Washer Leaking
Leaks come from door seals, inlet valve failures, loose hose clamps, or a cracked drain hose. We trace the water back to the source, replace the failed part, and run a full cycle to confirm it's dry. We see a lot of this after winter in the Sierra foothills and Bay Area.

Washer Not Spinning
If the drum won't spin, the drive belt, lid switch, or control board is usually the culprit. We test each component in sequence, replace the bad one, and verify the spin cycle under load. Same day service available across Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Central Valley.

Washer Shaking / Off Balance
Violent shaking points to worn suspension rods, failed shock absorbers, or a load that's simply unbalanced. We check the rods and shocks, replace them when they're shot, and level the machine. Common in stacked units and second-floor laundry rooms in San Jose and Oakland.
Explore →
Washer Door Lock
Front-loaders won't start if the door lock assembly fails. We test the lock, the wiring harness, and the control board, then replace the lock assembly with a UL-listed part. If your washer won't start and the door won't latch, this is usually why.

Washer Drain Pump
The drain pump moves water out of the tub. When it fails, you get standing water and a washer not draining. We replace the pump, clear the filter housing, and test the drain cycle. We keep Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, and GE pumps on the truck for same day repair.

Washer Suspension Rods
Suspension rods hold the tub steady during the spin cycle. When they wear out, the drum bangs against the cabinet. We replace all four rods as a set, check the shock absorbers, and re-level the machine. A common fix on Maytag and Kenmore top-loaders.

Washer Agitator
An agitator that won't move usually has worn agitator dogs or a stripped drive block. We pull the agitator, replace the dogs, and test the wash action. If your clothes come out dry in the middle, this is the repair you need.

Washer Won't Start
No power, no lights, no response. We check the outlet, the lid switch, the control board, and the door lock. Most no-start calls trace back to a failed control board or a tripped thermal fuse. We diagnose and repair in one visit across California.

Dishwasher Repair
We also repair dishwashers: no drain, no heat, leaking door seals, and control board failures. Same techs, same trucks, same flat-rate pricing. If your dishwasher is backing up into the sink or leaving grit on the glasses, call (888) 593-1452.

Samsung Washer Repair
Samsung Washer Repair in California is the diagnostic and mechanical work that restores a Samsung washer to full cycle operation, whether the fault is a clogged drain pump, a worn drive belt, or a failed control board. A proper repair starts with reading the fault code, then testing the water inlet valve, drain pump, and door lock assembly with a multimeter before any part gets swapped. We verify spin balance, check suspension rods for wear, and run a full test cycle before the machine goes back against your wall.

LG Washer Repair
LG Washer Repair in California is a diagnostic and mechanical repair service that restores front-load and top-load LG washers to full operation when they stop draining, spinning, locking, or starting. An LG washer is not a generic appliance. The direct-drive motor, the inverter control board, and the door lock assembly all talk to each other through proprietary fault logic, so a technician who does not carry a multimeter and the LG service fault chart is guessing. We pull the stored error code first, then test the water inlet valve, drain pump, and suspension rods in sequence instead of replacing parts until something works.

Whirlpool Washer Repair
Whirlpool Washer Repair in California is the diagnosis and correction of mechanical, electrical, and water-handling faults on Whirlpool top load and front load machines, from a washer not draining to a control board failure. A proper repair starts with the fault code, then a live test of the fill, wash, drain, and spin cycles. We check the drain pump, water inlet valve, lid switch, and drive belt before we replace anything. Most jobs are a single visit: we pull the machine out, run the diagnostic, fit the part, and test it under load before we leave.

Maytag Washer Repair
Maytag Washer Repair in California is the diagnostic and mechanical work that brings a broken Maytag washer back to full function, from the drain pump and water inlet valve to the suspension rods and control board. We test the machine under load, not just at idle, because a washer that spins empty can still shake itself apart with a full drum. Our techs use a multimeter to trace voltage through the lid switch and door lock assembly, then pull the cabinet to inspect the drive belt and agitator dogs. You get a written diagnosis before we touch a wrench.

GE Washer Repair
GE Washer Repair in California is the diagnostic and mechanical work that restores a GE washer to full function, whether it is a top load with agitator dogs or a front load with a door lock assembly. Our technicians test the water inlet valve, drain pump, suspension rods, and control board with a multimeter before replacing anything. We carry GE-specific parts on the truck, so most repairs finish in one visit. If your washer will not drain, spin, or start, we find the failed component and fix it.

California washers take a beating. Hard water in the Central Valley and Inland Empire scales up inlet valves, older Bay Area homes have undersized drain lines, and stacked units in LA apartments shake themselves apart. Here are the calls we run most.

(888) 593-1452 →Most washing machine repairs in California cost $150 to $400 in market figures, with a typical job around $220 to $250. These are market prices, not California Washer Pros prices. We work quote-based only: you get a written quote after diagnosis, before any work starts, and no work starts before you approve it. Detail: Angi's 2026 data puts the national average at $180 to $250, typical $220 (Angi, updated 29 Sep 2026); Sacramento 2026 market figures are $150 to $400, average $180 to $250; San Diego market figures are $150 to $350 for a washing machine; Orange County market figures are $120 to $400 for a washer. Your final quote depends on the failed part, the brand, and labour time, so it can sit below or above the market range.
Judge a company by three things: a California licence, a written quote before work starts, and a clear explanation of what failed. California Washer Pros technicians are manufacturer service certified and hold a California appliance repair licence, and we quote before we start. Call (888) 593-1452 and judge us on the first visit. Detail: ask whether the company is licensed and insured in California, whether it quotes before work starts, and whether the technician carries common parts on the truck, so most jobs finish in one visit. We do not claim to be the best company, and we do not publish reviews we do not have.
Ask three things: are they licensed and insured in California, do they quote before work starts, and do they explain what failed in plain words. A tech who carries parts on the truck will finish most jobs in one visit. If a company will not give you a price up front, keep calling. Detail: check the licence, the quote, and the parts on the truck before you approve any work. Our work is quote-based only, so the price you approve is the price before work starts.
